Soul Restorer
Soul Restorer
Breath into me
The sweet relief
The sweetest peace
Like the wind that moves the grasses
Shift this heart to ease
Soul Restorer
Restore to me
The identity of garden dweller
Naked like a little child
Running free
Running wild
Quiet Whisperer
Calm this soul
Sing the song of ever after
Sit with me beneath the Life Giver
Branches outstretched to the stars
Restorer of the people
Leaves of healing, not concealment
Sew Eden in my soul
A little about the poem
Nature is a balm for my soul. I find myself closer to God when I am among trees, grass, and earth. When in nature my mind often goes to memories of childhood and thoughts of the new heavens and new earth. I find myself more worshipful in nature and often with a magnificent sense of God’s loving presence.
